It&#8217;s always back and forth with us. He drunk messages me one weekend. I do it the next. He does it again, but this time he&#8217;s just trying to be funny\u2014&#8221;trying&#8221; being the operative word here. I know he&#8217;s mocking my drunken text from the weekend before, so I tell him he&#8217;s lucky I&#8217;m awake at that unholy hour. And then I remember that I purposely ignored his messages on Valentine&#8217;s Day, so he thinks things are okay between us now that I&#8217;ve broken my silence.
