I haven\u2019t had soda since the stroke, but I used to drink three cokes over an hour lunch with Nori, followed by a venti Pink Drink from Starbucks that I would finish before even going back home. Sugary drinks didn\u2019t used to affect me back then. Nowadays, if I\u2019m not drinking water, I\u2019ll have an iced coffee or alcohol (only drinks with a purpose LOL). We were having lunch earlier this week, and of course I just got a water. We split a combo which came with a drink, so Nori got a soda. There was a beverage station next to us with various lemonades and fruit punch Kool-Aid. I was like, \u2018If I were you, I\u2019d get some of that Kool-Aid and add a splash of Sprite!\u2019 She let me smell her cup before she drank it \ud83e\udd2a What has become of my life???<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
