Jessie’s birthday BBQ (@ Grand Ole BBQ Flinn Springs)

I missed pre-BBQ beers at Alpine because of stupid LA traffic, but I made it before they sold out of ribs this time! Can all my friends celebrate their birthdays here??? I would get on the 405 during rush hour for BBQ you.

  1. trebor was all like...

i was actually there that same weekend. this was my first try there, so i decided to grab a little bit of everything to go. the brisket was fine, nothing special (some of it was burnt), pulled pork was not very good, the turkey was good, but the star of the show were the sausage links. i will definitely come back for links and try the ribs.

@robert i actually only ate one rib from that tray of meat that day. it was the first time i had been there where they served their full menu, so i tried to stuff myself with more meat than i could handle. what else is new? ha. i can def get behind their sausage, but i’ve never had their turkey (i accidentally bought six pounds of turkey bone broth instead of chicken when i was on a ridiculous cleanse once, and i can’t even stomach the smell of turkey now). the beef ribs are my favorite thing on the menu. you should def try them the next time you’re in town…
