It’s Filipino tradition to consume 13 round fruits on New Year’s for prosperity.<\/p>\n

Christine also told me that it’s Filipino superstition that if I go to bed with my hair still wet from taking a shower, I’ll go blind LMAO, so IDK what to believe \ud83e\udd23<\/p>\n\n\n

I made some P.F. Chang’s copycat chicken lettuce wraps<\/a> in case this party wasn’t Asian enough.<\/p>\n\n\n

At our last holiday party, my 18-year-old cousin’s boyfriend was excited to see what desserts I made. He told my cousin, ‘She’s the one who made the cinnamon rolls at the last party!’ and she was like, ‘How do you even know that?!’ I’m hoping to start another fight with these Golden Grahams s’mores bars<\/a> \ud83d\ude06<\/p>\n

One of my earliest memories is of my grandma making mochi<\/a> on NYE. It’s an Asian tradition that’s supposed to bring good luck for the year to come. I made some this year in her memory \u2665\ufe0f<\/p>\n

I found out that the party I’m going to tonight doesn’t start till 8pm! Last year, I celebrated NYE east coast time and was in bed by 9:30pm.<\/p>\n
