You can&#8217;t see the smoke from here, but you can smell it in the air, and my car&#8217;s covered in ash. We didn&#8217;t see any smoke on the way up to West Hollywood for puppy yoga, but we did see this injury lawyer billboard \ud83d\ude06<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"435\" height=\"245\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NYH6Oa4PXlY?si=GH0-2t2am-yqUVCC\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/playa-provisions-fish-tacos.jpg\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>We ate at Food Network\u2019s Brooke Williamson\u2019s beachside restaurant, <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/ZCbg48ByLpo1r5tR8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Playa Provisions<\/a>. Proceeds from their fish tacos went to wildfire relief, so of course that&#8217;s what I ordered. It was delicious!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/pop-prosecco.jpg\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>Pop-prosecco? Yes, please.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/beach-bday.jpg\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/sunset-la.jpg\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>I hardly ever go to the beach, even though I live literally 2 miles from the ocean on Manhattan Beach Boulevard. Donna &amp; David happened to be in town for a wedding this weekend, and as San Diegans who moved to the east coast after high school, they like to go to the beach whenever they&#8217;re back in California.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/shin-blood.jpg\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Go to the beach,&#8217; they said. &#8216;It&#8217;ll be fun,&#8217; they said.<\/p>\n<p>Pardon my ashy white legs LOL, I had a little accident and slipped on some rocks \ud83d\ude05<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/beetlejuice-beetlejuice-receptionist.gif\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fact:<\/strong> I&#8217;ve always wanted to be Miss Argentina from <em>Beetlejuice<\/em> for Halloween.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/donations.jpg\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>I instacarted some non-perishables and necessities for families and pets who have been displaced due to the fires. The <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/EkRKWotRaNgMq5CT8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YMCA in Koreatown<\/a> is accepting donation drop-offs.<\/p>\n<p>Pammie collected money from the girls and got me an awesome <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etsy.com\/listing\/1814376503\/moo-deng-moo-deng-shirt-moo-deng-hippo?ga_order=most_relevant&amp;ga_search_type=all&amp;ga_view_type=gallery&amp;ga_search_query=moo+deng+shrt&amp;ref=sc_gallery-1-11&amp;pro=1&amp;sts=1&amp;search_preloaded_img=1&amp;plkey=ee48f28ea58beeb4aaeb86815746be7e99033cf9%3A1814376503&amp;variation0=4860202509&amp;variation1=4869945636\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Moo Deng shirt<\/a> that I wore to puppy yoga, and had leftover money, so I said to just donate it to one of these major organizations accepting monetary donations for the wildfires: <a href=\"https:\/\/lafd.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LAFD<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.redcross.org\/local\/california\/los-angeles.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">American Red Cross<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.directrelief.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Direct Relief<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/wck.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">World Central Kitchen<\/a>, or the <a href=\"https:\/\/losangelescentral.salvationarmy.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Salvation Army<\/a>. They need it more than I do.
