Now she&#8217;s back in LA, too, and living in Koreatown. We both have January birthdays, so we celebrated with Nori at <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/7nZDJJtJeqFiaN227\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Soowon Galbi<\/a>, followed by dessert at <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/eYqFSCpDj3ZFvCke6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sul &amp; Beans<\/a> near her new place in K-Town.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/whoworeitbetter.jpg\" alt=\"who wore it better?\"><\/p>\n<p>Who wore it better??? We used to work together, and we bonded over work trauma, our love of live music, good food and no dietary restrictions \ud83d\ude06<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/oceandiner.jpg\" alt=\"richie tenenbaum and mia wallace costumes\" width=\"435\" height=\"435\"><\/p>\n<p>We used to go to <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/ehtNbC2vraLmqoU1A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ocean Diner<\/a> in Hermosa Beach for lunch all the time, but we started noticing people would get fired after we ate there. It happened three different times! So we haven&#8217;t eaten there in years \ud83d\ude05<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/hollywood-bowl-lights.gif\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>One time, we were at the <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/7kUFDd6uMMnkWWX48\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hollywood Bowl<\/a>, and she leaned over and was like, &#8216;Can we go eat after this?&#8217; \ud83d\ude06<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/bootleghificocktails.jpg\" alt=\"bootleg hifi\" width=\"435\" height=\"435\"><\/p>\n<p>We would leave shows early all the time to go eat (@ <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/6Kn7k1z6PtqhNPD88\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bootleg Theater<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/ramekin_bread_pudding.jpg\" alt=\"ramekin los angeles\" width=\"435\" height=\"435\"><\/p>\n<p>Our favorite place ever was <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/A7JqNon6EXqCKCF67\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ramekin<\/a> in Los Feliz. It has since closed down, but our friendship has outlasted all the restos and music venues that have closed since I met her.
