What I typically snack on when I’m driving to SD from LA:<\/strong> Hot Fries and bottled iced coffee from the gas station<\/p>\n

What Pammie packs me when I go back to LA:<\/strong> Bottled water and homemade trail mix that she weighs out<\/em> based on single serving size (freeze-dried pineapples, freeze-dried mangos, roasted unsalted almonds and dark chocolate covered acai berries)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One time, we were going back to her house from my parents’ house, and we stopped at the gas station. I was like, ‘Do we need snacks?’ and she was like, ‘We are 10 minutes away from my house. This ain’t a road trip!’ \ud83d\ude05<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It took me nearly 3 hours to drive down to SD on a Saturday afternoon. This entitled asshole in a white Audi kept weaving in and out of traffic. His back bumper was missing, probably bc he drives like a fucking idiot. Then, when I was in the fast lane, this group of moms in a minivan who looked like they were on their way to Disneyland (out of state plates and all wearing visors) tried to cross the double-solid lines from the HOV lane into my lane, and I had to swerve into the next lane to avoid crashing into them. Luckily, no one was in the lane next to me, but the driver gave me a dirty look like it was my<\/em> fault she didn’t know how to fucking drive!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driving in LA has def made me a better, more aggressive driver, but I can’t wait to not do this commute anymore…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
