{"id":36704,"date":"2024-02-25T10:49:52","date_gmt":"2024-02-25T18:49:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mayanrocks.com\/?p=36704"},"modified":"2024-02-25T16:29:51","modified_gmt":"2024-02-26T00:29:51","slug":"foodie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mayanrocks.com\/?p=36704","title":{"rendered":"Foodie."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/valenttine-drinks.jpg\" alt=\"valentine\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/valentine-food.jpg\" alt=\"valentine\"><\/p>\n\n\n<p>I forgot that I put this place on my list because the pastry chef at this restaurant was recently <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/g999MPTzYiAbGMBk8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nominated for a James Beard Award<\/a>, and I ended up ordering a mimosa and steak and eggs \ud83d\ude05 (@ <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/g999MPTzYiAbGMBk8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Valentine<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/aflourshop1.jpg\" alt=\"a flour shop\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/aflourshop2.jpg\" alt=\"a flour shop\"><\/p>\n\n\n<p>I dropped this oatmeal whoopie pie and I had to keep explaining that the stains all over my leggings were whoopie pie cream and not some other white stuff \ud83d\ude05 (@ <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/2QnyLQYcSTPcQEHWA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A Flour Shop<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/all-pierogi-kitchen.jpg\" alt=\"pierogi\"><\/p>\n\n\n<p>Holy pierogi (@ <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/qruVuJg6qU7jT7fz7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">All Pierogi Kitchen<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve had Polish sausage before (I&#8217;ve also had kielbasa LOL), but I&#8217;ve never had any other Polish food. It was sooo good! I highly recommend the cheddar and jalape\u00f1o pierogi. I thought it was gonna be &#8220;white people spicy,&#8221; but it actually had some heat! \ud83d\ude05<\/p>\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mayanrocks.com\/blog\/ikes-tempe.jpg\" alt=\"ike's\"><\/p>\n\n\n<p>This Ike\u2019s was within walking distance to our hotel.
