Barnes and Noble was boarded up and closed, though. End of an era! I used to spend hours at this Barnes and Noble – writing papers for school, when you still needed actual books and couldn’t look up everything on the internet or use ChatGBT – ‘the 1900s’ as the kids say.<\/p>\n
I used to treat myself to coffee and a sweet treat at the Starbucks inside the Barnes and Noble. I remember one time I was so excited to eat my pastry, I opened the bag in my then-boyfriend’s car and it was empty. My first thought: Did this fucker eat my chocolate croissant? We traced our steps back to the now-closed Starbucks and I saw my croissant on the floor of the parking lot. Turns out I was holding the bag upside down and the pastry fell out without me noticing \ud83d\ude05<\/p>\n
