Chel has been wanting to get together for months, and all of our schedules finally aligned. We had dinner and drinks at her favorite hotel to staycation with her family – Town and Country Resort<\/a>. Aside from living in LA the past decade, I’ve lived in SD most of my life and have never been to this hotel. I loved that we could sit outside in the patio and still get service from Monkey Bar<\/a>, loved that I could bring my dog, loved that it was only a 10-minute drive from my apartment, and loved that the bar validates parking for free (otherwise $25!). It had Liberty Public Market<\/a> vibes with less children. Or maybe the kids were just far away at the pool \ud83d\ude06<\/p>\n
