I had a list of places<\/a> I wanted to eat at in NYC, but the humidity made it impossible to travel anywhere, so we spent most of our time in air-conditioned food halls and ate breakfast in the hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partly bc Grand Central had a BTS takeover, but mostly bc the station was air-conditioned (@ Grand Central Terminal<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We made custom BTS shirts and made one for Donna, too, since she’s the one who got us into BTS \ud83d\udc9c<\/p>\n\n\n

We ventured to Soho to pick up a viral cinnamon roll<\/a> from Loser’s Eating House<\/a>, but took a rideshare back to the hotel and doordashed NYC’s iconic bagels and baked goods.<\/p>\n\n\n

Humidity is a different beast. I can take the dry heat of California or Phoenix or Vegas, but this wet heat??? \ud83e\udd74 We went to Cabo for Jessie’s bachelorette around this time in the summer, and the humidity made me want to punch a baby. I went to Alicia’s wedding in Vegas the week after, and the dry heat was a welcome reprieve from the humidity in Cabo. We met people at the show who had traveled from Thailand and Florida and they said this weather was nothing<\/em> compared to where they live – Well, I live in California, so please excuse the ice ring<\/a> around my neck and my portable fan<\/a> \ud83d\ude05<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lines just to get into MetLife Stadium<\/a> were insane, but that’s also where people exchange lots of freebies, so it was def a tradeoff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crossing over to New Jersey for the concert with a rideshare was easy peasy, but coming back to the city was a nightmare. We didn’t get home the first night till one in the morning! It was impossible to get a rideshare out of MetLife Stadium after the show. We had to take multiple forms of public transportation – the bus, the subway – Our ordeal with public transit can be summed up by something I overheard this guy say at the train station – ‘When did people stop wearing deodorant???’ \ud83e\udd23<\/p>\n\n\n\n

People were generally in good spirits despite the crowds, and they were v appreciative of the freebies Pammie and I passed out!<\/p>\n\n\n
