I was looking through old posts and came across this post of ‘Where To Get Dinner With Someone Who Talks Too Loud’ and realized the resto I was recently taken to was on this list.
Pijja Palace is a sports bar on Sunset 10 minutes from Dodger Stadium, but I went there the night of a Padres/Braves game, so these Angelenos didn’t give a shit. I’m sure it’s much rowdier when there’s a Dodgers game on.
The only other restaurant I’ve been to on here is Guelaguetza, and I can confirm that you can still hear me over the live mariachi band 😜
