I doordashed breakfast from Urth Caffe this morningโ€”an iced Spanish latte and a Sunrise Pizza. The poached egg that came on top of the breakfast pizza was way overcooked again (the yolk was cooked all the way through!). I went to Urth with Nori for lunch before, and I ordered the same thing. I was like, ‘Get this shot, Nori’ before I cut into my poached egg expecting a runny yolk, but the egg was cooked solid LOL.

I love a good breakfast pizza, and my favorite one is from Big Sur Bakery (I just saw it burned down a few months ago!). I still ate the pizza without the solid ass egg ๐Ÿ˜œ

Another time, I was at brunch with Jessie and we both ordered chilaquiles, but I ordered my eggs ‘over easy’ while she ordered hers ‘over medium’. I was like, ‘WTF is over medium?’ She was like, ‘Where they flip the egg, but the yolk is still runny.’ I was like, ‘Isn’t that over easy?’ She was all, ‘Don’t they not flip it when it’s over easy?’ I was like, ‘Nah, that’s sunny side up.’ She was like, ‘Let’s see how they come out.’ We got our order and our eggs were cooked the same ๐Ÿ˜‚ Apparently, they don’t know the difference between over easy and over medium at La Sabrosita, either!

    i won’t judge, i put ketchup on my steak no matter how good it is, because i just like ketchup lol alicia and ray always get on me for that. one time, we were at a steakhouse and i asked the waiter for ketchup and alicia and ray were like, ‘that better be for your fries!’ i do love a runny yolk, so i love my eggs over easy, but i also love a soft scrambled egg. omg if we’re ever in vegas together again, we should go to bouchon at the venetian and get french omelettes! you’ll rethink your stance on slightly burnt eggs.

    my mom also loves a ‘what have you done?’ steak lol and when we were in portugal, the waiter told her they’d cook the steak to a perfect medium and no more. she ended up really liking it!
