You guys, I think I just met my husband.
We ditched the Sunday lineup to go to a Spring Training game instead, so we had to sell our Sunday VIP wristbands. I usually resell my tickets on Stubhub, but I didn’t think I could do that with these bc we were still using the wristbands up until Saturday night and would have to meet the buyer before the festival on Sunday. I went on Craigslist, not quite sure if people still used that platform. I haven’t used Craigslist since I used to troll for hookups in their Casual Encounters section in years. I listed the wristbands for way below face ($200 vs $595 for single-day VIP!) and got a hit within minutes.
I had good banter with the guy who was interested in the tickets and he met us in the hotel lobby the next morning. I did some light internet stalking to make sure he was legit and not a Craigslist killer. I found his public IG, saw he was very easy on the eyes, worked in apparel and marketing, was probably loaded bc he said he got platinum tickets to the festival last year ($1K+ a day!), and his last IG post was at the Super Bowl with his friends 😳 Yeah, he could def afford my heavily discounted VIP tickets.
He met us in the lobby and was so tall, bearded, and handsome. We had good conversation, and he said he was buying the tickets partly bc his wife loves Blink-182 (of course he’s married), but mostly bc his birthday’s coming up and this was the perfect kickoff to his birthday week 🥳 He mentioned his dad was Filipino (he doesn’t look Asian at all), he was born and raised in Alaska, has been in Phoenix for the past 5 years, but has lived all over – SF, Milwaukee, Iowa… and he’s moving to Columbus. He works in the apparel industry, and is just following wherever the jobs take him.
When we were walking back to the hotel room, Pammie was like, ‘OMGGGG he’s totally your stee! Too bad he’s married.’ That should’ve been my first question – ‘Are you married?’ Follow up question – ‘Are you happily married?’ 😆

On Sundays, we go to church (@ Taco Guild)

I stuffed my face with tacos and confessed all my sins in this converted church 🌮🙏🏼

It’s a beautiful day for a ball game (@ Peoria Sports Complex)

The Dodgers didn’t play any of their starters (Ohtani, Freeman, Kiké, Mookie), and they still murdered the Padres 😅 I was also v underwhelmed with the food selection, but Petco Park is ranked the #1 baseball stadium in the league, so I didn’t expect to be impressed.
It was still a fun experience!

Damnit. Hes married. Damnit.
