Gas is so fucking cheap here. It only cost us $15 to fill up the tank on our rental car. That’s like 3 gallons in SD. 2 gallons in LA during Covid 😅

I had a view of the hotel next door’s pool from our hotel room, and noticed no one ever went in the pool, but would just sunbathe when it was 50° out 🤯
These self-driving Waymo rideshares were all over downtown. I haven’t seen them yet in SD, but they just started using them in LA before I moved. TBH, they probably drive better than I do 😅 But you will never catch me in one of these. I used to want a Tesla after the stroke bc I was scared to drive again, and it’s the only car with self-driving capabilities, but my hatred for Elon Musk snipped that in the butt real quick LOL.
When we were waiting to cross the street, this lady saw a Waymo for the first time and her flabbers were gasted. She was like, ‘There’s no driver?! Waymo? More like Way-NO!’ and I’ve been laughing for a million years 😂
