The Padres won and are 1st in our division ahead of the Dodgers now ✊🏼
I had low hopes for them in the beginning of the season with the new manager, the team for sale, losing the first couple series, Tatis wearing Skechers LOL JK – I said I would move out of downtown when my lease is up in October if the Padres didn’t make the playoffs this year. Since things are looking up now, I’m adding a parlay – There’s this park they’ve been building across the street from my apartment since 2022. It was supposed to be done December 2025, then it got pushed to March 2026, and now it’s June 2026. So if the Padres make it to the postseason AND the park is done, I’ll stick around. There’s lots of pros and cons of living downtown… I’ll let the Padres and City decide if I stay 😜✌🏼
