Tell Him.

I walked Milo to Petco Park bc I knew the Padres didn’t have a game today, but I didn’t know it’d be closed bc of the Lauryn Hill show. I need to remember to check the schedule 😅

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is one of my favorite albums, but I’ve seen Lauryn Hill a few times before. She’s notorious for being super late, yelling at her backup singers during the show, not filing her taxes LOL… The last time I saw her was at SDSU for the 20th anniversary show for The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill in 2018. She was amazing – she was on time, got along with her band, and sang my favorite song off the album 🥹

Tell him I need him
Tell him I love him
And it’ll be alright

The show was so perfect, I wanted to remember her that way, so I said it’d be my last show of hers LOL.

Cha commented on @petcoparkevents‘ post, and I’ve been laughing for a million years 😂

Also, I just saw that this was a benefit show. Sidenote: Did you know that you can’t resell tickets on Stubhub for a benefit show? The first (and last) time I saw Billie Eilish was for a benefit show at The Wiltern in LA. I bought a bunch of tickets to sell bc she was gaining popularity at that time, and The Wiltern is a relatively small venue. I didn’t know until I tried to list them on Stubhub that they don’t allow ticket sales of charity shows. That’s where they draw the line? I’m still salty about the Beyoncé incident that involved Stubhub, the former Staples Arena, and a police report. Anyway, I digress. Billie Eilish was only 16 at the time, and 16-year-old artists have screaming 16-year-old fans. My ears are still ringing 8 years later. I just listen to the dulcet tones of Billie Eilish on Spotify now 👵🏻
