You guys, a month ago, I didn’t know any of their songs and couldn’t pick any of them out of a police lineup.

Now I know the lyrics to their songs, their stage names AND their government names bc the audience says them in a fan chant during one of their songs 🤪

We got in line for merch at an unholy hour on Friday morning (people camped out the night before – not us LOL). They were only allowing each person to buy a maximum of one item from each category (hoodies, shirts, jerseys, etc.) We collectively spent $2K on merch, but all I personally bought was a $30 cradle for my lightstick LOL. I did buy a hoodie for our new friend, Natalie, bc she wanted two of the same one and was limited to only one. BTS fans are something else! I’ve been to countless concerts in life, and I have never met a fandom so friendly and so generous. Donna stayed in my apartment in LA last year when she went to Jin of BTS’ solo show. She got a bunch of freebies, and she gave me a sticker of Jung Kook that’s still on my fridge! I thought it was so weird that people just made freebies to exchange with other fans with their own money.

Vegas welcomed BTS like I’ve never seen them welcome an artist before. I was recently here for Bruno Mars, and yes they named a day and a street after him LOL, but it was nothing like this!

I would like to issue a formal apology to my sister’s bestie, Donna Cole, who has been trying to convince us how great BTS is since the pandemic, but we weren’t hearing it. I will now dedicate my life going forward to these seven Korean guys 🫰🏼 Their joy ignites my own 💜

Money can’t buy happiness… but I don’t remember being sad in our VIP seats at back-to-back BTS concerts in Vegas¯\_(ツ)_/¯
When Pammie first asked me months ago if I wanted to see BTS in Vegas, I said yes with no hesitation even though I didn’t know their music. ‘I’m just going for the vibes,’ I said. Apparently, I’ll pay $1K+ for ‘vibes’. I don’t have a mortgage (though my rent costs more than my parents’ mortgage), I don’t have kids, I’m not into designer bags… I’d rather pay for experiences – VIP concert tickets, first class airfare, traveling… This is what I like to spend my hard-earned Art Director money on 🤪 Just let me.

I charge everything besides my rent and bills to my credit card bc I get miles. My domestic flights are always free bc I have so many. I have no debt – I pay my credit card off every month. The problem with traveling with my sister is that she makes wayyyy more money than I do, but I forget that when we’re traveling together, and I spend like I’m rich, too 😅 So I had to transfer money from my savings to cover my charges this month…
Anyway, BTS again in LA in September? 😅

This blog might devolve into a BTS stan account. Fair warning.
