Christine and her kiddos always gift me the spookiest shit and I love it 💀🖤
Christine was sick with covid and her dad passed away a couple weeks ago 😔 She has been through so much this past decade – both her parents passing away, breast cancer, new jobs… She’s not the type of person to ask for help, so I thought I would drop off some goodies to make her life a little easier.
Pammie was also sick (was it the rain, a week of BTS concerts in LA, who really is to blame here?), so I also doordashed her some of her favorites from this Thai place by my parents’ house.
She was listing off all things she needed to do Saturday before we watched the playoff game. She has a presentation due this afternoon and back-to-back meetings, and we were gonna be at the funeral all morning. I’m all caught up on work till Tuesday, so I was just grilling pineapple in my underwear on Saturday (her husband was in Maui, calm down), and I said, ‘Why don’t I run those errands for you?’
The relief on her face! My sister’s love language is not having to ask 🤪
She texted me a to-do list, including things I needed to do for myself – get ribbon to make the sashes for Christine’s dad’s casket and floral arrangements, get an eyeglass repair kit bc the screw keeps falling out of the arm of my sunglasses, get a serious eyebrow threading LOL bc Christine’s 8-year-old daughter once told our friend (who’s a girl), ‘I like your mustache!’ 🤣 so I always have my shit groomed when I know I’m gonna see that little b bc she terrifies me LOL.
All that to say, do the things. Run the errands. Send the doordash. Whatever makes their life easier when they’re going through it.
I love that she put items on her to do list that were for you too. I was wondering about the eyebrow wax and how you were gonna “do that for her” lolol. You are a treasure, love <3

it started off with me asking her to go with me to get a serious eyebrow threading lol, and she said she couldn’t come with bc she had to do this, this, and this, so i said i could do those things for her since i was gonna be out anyway and was all caught up with work so i didn’t have to worry about being out during the funeral.
we’re going to the playoff game tonight @ petco, so i said i would park outside and she could just take my spot with the handi when she gets here so she doesn’t have to pay a ridic amount for parking!
your girl is a lot of things, but inconsiderate isn’t one of them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
