I’ve always loved The Strokes, and I’ve seen them live several times in LA and they always disappoint. Specifically their lead singer, Julian Casablancas. He’s just such an asshole – leaves the stage early, sings that he doesn’t wanna be there… I feel sorry for the rest of the band.
That being said, Pammie just bought us VIP tix to see them at Innings Fest 😜 It’s like we’re in an abusive relationship, and I keep giving Julian another chance 😅
I’ve seen Death Cab, Mr. Worldwide at a Channel 93.3 Summer Kickoff Concert series LOL (I was gifted tickets!), and Alanis at Linkin Park’s memorial show for Chester Bennington – she was my least favorite guest (and MGK was there, so that’s saying something). I don’t need to see any of these artists again LOL, so we’re just going Saturday. Probably gonna catch another Padres game if Spring Training lines up with that weekend.
Innings Fest is one of my favorite music festivals bc it’s so chill. The Strokes announced they’re headlining Kilby Block Party with Deftones (!), but it’s in fucking Utah – you will never catch me in that state.
