I went here today to get my eyebrows threaded, and Super Brows is still here, but Rosie (who used to thread my brows 20 years ago) isn’t 😅 I also used to work here with my ex’s sister Sheryll at Afterthoughts in our twenties. Our coworker pierced our cartilage one night with the piercing gun, and mine was fine, but Sheryll’s got infected. She ended up getting this huge growth that had to be surgically removed. I remember she named him “Wilbur” 🤢 Ahh, memories…
i actually kinda liked that place. it was a nice reprieve from parkway plaza. now when’s the last time you were there???

omg it’s been years… my bff used to live nearby in el cajon, so sometimes we’d go there, but she moved to murrieta a few years ago, so i have no reason to go to parkway plaza anymore. maybe i’ll stop by just to see if we were able to save the apple cinnamon pretzel at wetzel’s 😏
i used to work at the bank across the street from grossmont when it was still washington mutual. they had to put me on a cash dispensing machine, because my drawer never balanced at the end of the night 😅 we also got robbed on my day off. needless to say, i was never meant to be a bank teller, and the perks were better when i worked at parkway…
