…or let’s watch a dystopian action-adventure movie together (@ The Lot)
I thought the new Hunger Games was a love story, but it’s more President Snow’s villain origin story 😅 We drove up to La Jolla because The Lot was the nearest theater showing the movie with recliner seats where we didn’t have to sit right in front of the screen. We did, however, have to sit next to these obnoxious kids who kept loudly commenting stupid shit during the movie. Like, isn’t this movie rated R? Are you even old enough to watch this shit? Where are your parents??? 🙄 Anyway, I loved the movie. Even better than the original Hunger Games movies. I didn’t read the book, so I had no expectations and nothing to compare it to. It was pretty amazing.
