I remember being at the movies with a guy, and the credits were rolling at the end, and he was like, ‘Who the fuck was Zo?’ I was like, ‘Zo? It’s pronounced ‘Zo-ee.’ The main character?’ He had never seen ‘Zoe’ spelled before so didn’t know how to pronounce it.
